GCSTUDENTS THANKSGIVING EVENT

Calling all chefs, bakers, and Mac & cheese makers! Our annual GCStudents Friendsgiving is coming up on Wednesday, November 19th. We're looking for friends that can help us create a special night and provide all the food (and fun) for middle and high school students around ONE big family table!

Grieving the death of a loved one is hard. During the holidays, it can be even worse. The family gatherings, yearly traditions, holiday festivities can bring that grief back to the surface.

You shouldn’t have to face this grief alone. We want to help equip you with the tools you need to cope with the grief you’re experiencing.

On November 19th, we are hosting a gathering to help you navigate your grief throughout the holiday season. “Surviving the Holidays” is a one-week class hosted by our Grief Share ministry.

During this support group, we will discuss how to handle the many emotions you’ll experience this holiday season. We will provide practical tips for surviving holiday parties and gatherings. We will navigate holiday traditions and how these will evolve this year. Most importantly, we will help you discover hope for your family’s future.

Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by offering the essential support, resources and connections they need, including assistance to families who are looking to provide a home to a child with a disability.

We believe that every individual with a disability deserves the opportunity to flourish in a nurturing and inclusive environment, supported by families and communities equipped to champion their unique strengths and potential. We are committed to fostering inclusion and shifting perceptions to ensure that every life is valued and recognized for its meaning and purpose. By education and engaging our community through our work, we take meaningful steps toward creating a more compassionate, inclusive and vibrant place to live.

We want you to join us as we make this happen within our community. We don’t just want all individuals to feel WELCOME, we want everyone to be INCLUDED. As you register for this year’s race for Inclusion, you have the following options:

On Sunday, October 26th we'll be throwing our annual FALL FEST and offering up hay rides, free food, bounce houses, games, and so much more fun for the WHOLE FAMILY. Invite all your friends and help us pack the property so we can help strangers become friends, and friends become family. 

*We'll be collecting candy donations starting this weekend. Just hand your bags of candy in at the welcome tent.

There will be a parent meeting in the kids building at 10AM. Practice shirts, and rules/expectations will be given, as well as donuts and coffee.

*If the girls give back their uniform. If they want to purchase their uniform, there will be a set fee.
**We will be joining CCA (Christian Cheer of America) this year and will be competing. This will also incur a fee. We will do fundraisers to help offset this cost.

Games will be on Saturdays at 9AM / 10AM.

Spanish Translation and Special Needs Ministry at 11:00am!
Our 11:00am service offers live Spanish translation via headphones in the sanctuary. We will also be offering "Exceptionally Blessed" (Grace City's ministry for Kids with Special Needs and their families) during the 11:00am service.
