To put what we learn into practice, we engage the world by emphasizing the importance of reaching out to our neighbors, whether in the classroom or office, everywhere…every day!

GCC is putting on a FREE Christmas music and worship event featuring food trucks, games, s’mores and hot cocoa to celebrate the season. Thanks to our hosts at Puzzle Ranch this event will be open to the whole church family AND the general public. Doors open at 5pm with food trucks and games and all the fun Puzzle Ranch offers. Music will begin at 6:30pm and as the sun sets s’mores and hot cocoa will be served while we sing and worship together.

What if we all rallied together to cover the remainder of GCC’s 2023 needs for ministry?
If you’ve been tracking our current giving, we’re roughly $64K behind budget to date. This isn’t alarming considering the current climate of our nation and it’s happening across the board with churches and nonprofits trying to make a difference. But it’s impactful to everyday ministry. We’ve made efforts to reduce spending in some areas to counter this, but we also know that without additional help we can’t do what we imagined we’d do this year. Our leadership prayerfully prepared for this step at the beginning of the year knowing that this was God’s plan for us in 2023. We had no doubt in God’s invitation to us then, and we don’t doubt that same invitation now! Our leadership knew we’d likely need to pull from reserves to add two full time roles to support family ministry. Our staff and leadership have been mindful and ridiculously conservative as stewards of God’s resources. This is a beautiful church family at every level.
God always provides and we’ve witnessed that all year. When we ask (and pray), God shows up (and even shows off). Not only have we seen tremendous growth in our kids and students ministries…we’ve seen how this step of faith has made Jesus known beyond any perceived return in investment. It’s never been about money for us…it’s ALWAYS about the heart. Hearts are being changed…and God uses the finite to change lives infinitely.
With that being said, we’ve never missed reaching our budgeted goal and we believe that God will close this gap this year with you. Can you help us finish STRONG this upcoming Giving Tuesday, November 28th?
We’re hoping to raise a minimum of $65K to cover the current deficit and even close up the books for the rest of the year! Every single gift matters! That’s how we fund local missions, student camps, and provide for those less fortunate. We’re humbly asking for your support…and BIG prayers. Our lofty goal for the day is $100K. We wholeheartedly believe we can get there and celebrate all God has done and is doing through Grace City! We did this in 2020 when God invited us to move to Sorrento…and we can do this again, because God never fails. #GraceLivesHere
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to celebrate the return of Pastor Jeremy and his family this Sunday. Once again we are partnering again with Sorrento Elementary to provide Christmas gifts for local families in need. Your help is HUGE in making our Christmas Outreach Tree a success!
Beginning THIS Sunday, November 26th, hundreds of ornaments will adorn the Christmas Tree in our sanctuary and each ornament will display a special wish from a local family at Sorrento Elementary. GCC'ers will pick up an ornament and bring it back with an unwrapped gift by Sunday, December 10th.

Grieving the death of a loved one is hard. During the holidays, it can be even worse. The family gatherings, yearly traditions, holiday festivities can bring that grief back to the surface.
You shouldn’t have to face this grief alone. We want to help equip you with the tools you need to cope with the grief you’re experiencing.
On November 7th, we are hosting a gathering to help you navigate your grief throughout the holiday season. “Surviving the Holidays” is a one-week class hosted by our Grief Share ministry.
During this support group, we will discuss how to handle the many emotions you’ll experience this holiday season. We will provide practical tips for surviving holiday parties and gatherings. We will navigate holiday traditions and how these will evolve this year. Most importantly, we will help you discover hope for your family’s future.
